- I will be able to get young actors for roles such as a 16 year old female actor.
- Easy access to the settings as described in the mind map.
- With the locations that have been chosen I will be able to use a range of different shots to capture the film needed because of the open space.
- With the genre of social realism you do not have to spend money on many props as most of the stuff used is items people own anyway because you need to keep it as close to real life as possible.
- The theme of relationships is a very good idea to use because you can explore more issues within the theme of relationships such as, how alcohol can influence a relationship, domestic abuse etc.
Cons
- It might be difficult to get the right aged actors for example; A dad struggling with alcoholism, the problem could be that it might be hard to find a male character in his 40's to play the role.
- It would be difficult to explore the theme of disability/ability.
- It would be difficult to think of an outcome for the conflict of a young girl who is being abused and she doesn't know what to do.
- Another con could be that it could be potentially expensive to buy/afford the equipment needed to make the film.
